SPIDER VEINS: GONE
Facial Veins and Leg Veins
Have you stopped wearing shorts? Do you avoid the beach because of unsightly spider veins? Are you picking outfits you don’t like just because they hide your legs? Instead of covering spider veins with long pants easily remove them with laser. You’ll be eager to show off your new legs!
Traditional vein removal therapies including injections can be painful and have mixed results. Long term results vary greatly. Now, using a state-of-the-art laser technology you can safely and effectively eliminate spider veins. Lasers target the hemoglobin (blood) in the veins or capillaries associated with these conditions, effectively causing blood vessels to close and be reabsorbed by the body. There is no "down time" associated with this painless procedure.
During the treatment program, the laser energy closes off the small capillaries. You may feel a warm or tingling sensation, and treatments normally last between fifteen minutes and one hour.
Spider Veins are often a normal part of the aging process and can be caused by hormonal changes, skin disease, or sun damage. The cause of spider veins and vascular lesions is not completely known. In many cases the conditions seem to be genetic. For example, sometimes identical twins are affected in the same area of the body.
Spider veins can develop in both men and women, but more frequently in women. Female hormonal changes may play a role in the development of facial vascular lesions and spider veins. Causes of these hormonal changes may be puberty, birth control pills, pregnancy and/or hormone replacement therapy. Spider veins in the legs may also appear after an injury or as a result of wearing tight girdles or hosiery held up with tight rubber bands. Spider veins that occur on the nose or the cheeks of light skinned individuals may be caused by sun exposure.
